Comme vous le savez ou ne le savez pas, mes gouts en films et en musique sont ce que je peux considérer d'eclectiques. Regroupant pas mal de genres et d'époques. A chaque fois que ça m'arrive j'adore redécouvrir quelque chose que je n'avais pas vu ou entendu depuis pas mal de temps. Ce week end j'ai me suis mis avec mon frère ainé devant L.A Confidential, un film que je n'avais pas revu depuis pas mal d'années et en étant seulement à l'age tendre de 21 ans le film m'a emmener dans de nouveaux horizons maintenant que je suis un peu plus vieux et c'est un film génial. Super cast, costumes, ce truc génial avec cette music de fond dans un Hollywood en pleine expansion et qui nous renvoi dans une des plus fameuse force de police corrompue vous embarque dans 2 heures de depaysement de quality.
Donc mes oreilles ont été revisitées par les Motown classiques dont je me rappelais par ma mère. Papa roulait de larges yeux et je ne pouvais m'arrêter de danser. Maintenant je me suis revu au temps de The Velvet Underground attendant avec imaptience des nouvelles prometteuses.

As you may or may not know my film and music tastes are what I would consider eclectic. Covering many genres and decades. Every now and then I go back and I love rediscovering something that I haven't seen or heard in a while. This weekend I sat down with my eldest brother and watched L.A Confidential a movie I hadn't seen in years and being only of the tender age of 21 the film took on a whole new light now I am that little bit older its a genius film. Great cast, costumes and that music set upon a back drop of a growing Hollywood and throw in the one of the most corrupt police forces known you have 2 hours of quality entertainment.
Then my ears have been revisiting Motown classics which I was weened on by my mum. Papa was a rolling stone blasted on and I couldn't stop dancing away. Now I found myself working away to The Velvet Underground waiting anxiously for promising news.

Bonjour à tous !
Aujourd’hui, pas mal de chose, j’attendais d’avoir de la matière pour faire une réelle mise à jour et je dois remercier Ed d’avoir été si actif ces temps derniers.^^
Commençons par de belles photos, je vous montrais il y a peu des clichés d’Alan Gelati, j’avais demandé à en avoir d’autres et Alan a eu la gentillesse de faire suivre mon message dans un premier temps, et j’ai moi-même pris contacte avec Ed pour lui suggérer de mettre les photos sur son site… c’est chose faite !! Je reposte donc les premiers clichés trouvés sur IMDB et j’ajoute celle qu’Ed a mis sur son site.
Today, many things, I waited to have some more stuff to make an real update and I must thank Ed to have seen so active those last times.^^
Let’s begin by some beautiful pix, I showed you few days ago some pix from Alan Gelati, I asked him to have more and Alan have had the nice move to make to follow my message in a first time, and I had myself taken contact with Ed to suggest him to put them on his site… it’s a thing done !! I resend then the fist pix found on IMDB and I add the one Ed sent on his site.

COWBOYS for CHRIST
Ed a annoncé sur son blog qu’il ferait parti du castin g pour « Cowboys fro Christ » la suite de « Wicker Man » où Chrsitopher Lee jouait et semblerait qu’il soit du casting pour la suite là aussi. Ed serait accompagné de Morgan James en tête d’affiche. Le tournage devrait commencer le mois prochain. Ed annonced on his blog that he will be a part of the « Cowboy fro Christ » casting, the fllowing up of « Wicker Man » where Christopher Lee played already and he will be a part again of that movie. Ed will be join at the bottom of the poster by Morgan James. The production hope to see fiming strat next month.

« Quelles deux ou trois semaines j'ai eu, je ne vais pas mentir le travail a été intense alors qu'il semble je suis sensé jouer au jeu des acteurs très familiers a presser et à attendre. J'attends de commencer à tourner, attendant une affaire à venir comme cela a été promise et qui me semble être une éternité (se produira-t-il jamais ? Dieu seul sait !) »
« Un bon nombre de choses positifs arrivent avec Firefly alors que Boogie Woogie est juste présenté en avant première à Edimbourg et naturellement l'équipe entière s'attends à ce qu'il paye, mais pour toute un tas de bonnes raisons. »
« En dehors de l'énergie consumée, l'environnement stressant de produir et agir est gratifiant. Je suis parti en vacances bien méritée, alors un grand merci bien sûr à Barnaby et à tous les gentils invités de la villa Pino qui me manqueront surement beaucoup jusqu'à l'année prochaine (tout ceux qui y étaient peuvent seulement espérer). La semaine était pleine de personnes plaisantes, des endroits aussi, le temps et naturellement la musique. »

« What a couple of weeks I have had, I am not going to lie work has been intense as I am seem to be playing the very familiar actors game of hurry up and wait. Waiting to start filming, waiting for a deal to come through that has been promised for what seems like an eternity (will it ever happen? fuck knows!) »
« Lots of positives happening with Firefly as Boogie Woogie just premiered up in Edinburgh which the naturally the whole team are chuffed about as its taken its toll, but for all the right reasons. »
« Outside of the time consuming, stressful balance of producing and acting its been quality. I went on the holiday of a lifetime so thank you so so much Barnaby and all the lovely guests at Villa Pino it will be sorely missed perhaps until next year (all those involved can only hope). The week was full of delights the people, location, weather and of course the music. »
« So I came back to the post holiday blues feeling which rapidly left my mind as I was invited to Elton John's white tie and tiara party. Cracking night, I went down there with my old mucker Jack and we tore the place up! I think we even out did Ronnie Wood to be honest. »
« This weekend I was able to catch up with all the old fellas from my school days as we celebrated our good friend Goose's 21st, thank you for a charming evening hopefully many more over the summer months. »
